It is timely to discuss psychometric measures that assess the psychological suitability of individuals applying for and in high stake roles, more specifically Airline personnel. At Testgrid, we are heavily invested in state-of-the-art, psychometrically sound and high utility assessments. In light of recent events, it is our strong recommendation that all organisations seriously consider the implementation of quick psychometric assessments to determine the psychological wellbeing and suitability of job applicants, and to assess their current personnel at regular intervals. At present, we recommend the use of a global clinical assessment, which will provide a comprehensive multi-scale report of global psychopathology. Alternatively, we recommend more specific psychometric assessments that target Deception, Integrity, Safety and Stress-Anxiety.
