Gerard has over 10 years experience in delivering online human resources solutions in a recruitment and development context. Gerard has worked for TestGrid for over 7 years and, following a Management Buy Out in 2007, became Managing Director and major shareholder of the company. Gerard has initiated, negotiated and delivered successful solutions for many government and ASX Top 300 corporate clients. He has a practical hands-on understanding of assessment products, processes and best of breed online solutions.
Gerard has a BA in Marketing & Finance and is accredited in many of the tools on the TestGrid Platform.
Barrie DobsonExecutive Chairman / Owner
Barrie has over 20 years experience in initiating, negotiating and delivering corporate transactions in his role as an Investment Banker / Corporate Advisor with JPMorgan, Hambros and McIntoshs. Barrie is Managing Director of DST Group which focuses on advising and partnering with Owner Operators. He is also Managing Director of DST Corporate and AUC, which arranged all aspects of the 2007 Management Buy Out of TestGrid. Barrie is actively involved in seeking new business directions for TestGrid and forming joint ventures to host Intellectual Property on TestGrid's industry-recognised online platform.
Barrie has a BEng(Mech) and MBA from the University of Melbourne, is an Accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business and is accredited in many of the tools on the TestGrid platform.
Richard FergusonNon-Executive Director / Owner
Richard has over 25 years Sales and Marketing experience with the last 15 years focussed within the online/internet industry. He was the Sales Director of OzEmail Internet, helped pioneer a world first in online video banking with Citibank Australia and has been involved with several early stage online opportunities such as web TV, social lending, alternate online payment solutions and online directories. Contracted in 2005 to help TestGrid evaluate and establish the right channel structure he also helped facilitate the management buy out in 2007 and is assisting in maximising TestGrid’s online presence.
Richard is a qualified direct marketer, holds a marketing diploma and is an accredited associated of the Institute of Independent Business.
Eric joined TestGrid as a Graduate J2EE Software Developer in early 2006. Since then he has been responsible for implementing and managing customised projects, including over 22 integrations as well many large corporate and Government Projects.
Eric has transitioned to being the IT Development Lead in 2010. Eric demonstrates an exceptionally high level of organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan, manage multiple development tasks, set priorities and meet multiple software development deadlines using Agile Methodologies.
Eric holds a Master of Information Technology from Monash University.
Henry has been a senior developer at TestGrid for 8 years and his responsibilities encompass the breadth of resource management activity involved in the design, development and deployment of the Online Testing application. His tertiary qualifications include Grad Dip in Computer Science (Australian Postgraduate Research Award), Bachelor of Engineering and Masters of Engineering.
Brett joined TestGrid in early 2009 and has over ten years experience delivering high availability enterprise solutions in various industries such as finance, media and learning and development. Brett has expertise in a myriad of technologies within the enterprise java space and Flex RIAs.
Tony joined TestGrid in late 2008 as a J2EE Software Engineer. He is responsible for implementing customised solutions to meet the requirements of TestGrid’s current and future clients, including integration with external platforms using HRXML and other technologies.
Tony provides high quality deliverables and is able to manage multiple development tasks across concurrent projects. He uses Agile Methodologies to help him prioritise and meet development deadlines efficiently.
Anthony holds an Honours Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Manchester.
With TestGrid, Danielle has focused on delivering psychometric solutions centring around recruitment and development programs, benchmarking and validation studies, customized reporting, test interpretation and the assessment of workforce capability. She has delivered assessment centre programs for BP Australia, analysed benchmarking results for St George Bank and advised publishers on actual test outputs. In addition, she plays an integral role in TestGrid's development of leading edge products and services.
In addition to her experience with TestGrid, Danielle has extensive experience consulting around the use of psychometric assessments for recruitment and development purposes. She has also managed several large scale research projects with organisations such as Connex and ACROD. Additionally, as part of the Group Surveys team at ANZ Danielle managed their international engagement survey, liaised with a range of stakeholders and departments.
Christine joined TestGrid team in February 2009. Since then, she has focused on delivering psychometric solutions centring around recruitment and development programs, benchmarking performance, test interpretation and data analysis. She has analysed benchmarking results for the Recoveries Corporation Group Limited and developed customised 360 reports for clients like Humanoeuvre who specialise in leadership development. Additionally, she has also played an integral role in TestGrid’s development of leading edge products and services, specifically because she has created a range of surveys and reports for measuring employee experiences throughout the employment life cycle.
In addition to her experience with TestGrid, Christine has worked on an industrial remuneration survey project for SafeSearch, and completed a succesion planning project with Peregrine Adventure. Christine will be contactable to deal with enquiries and recommendations around roles and projects for Clients.
Katherine returned to work in a part-time capacity in April 2010 after the birth of her first child. Katherine holds a BA from the University of Otago.
