2012 Facet5 Accreditation Course

What it is
To use Facet5, practitioners need to have successfully undertaken a 2-day accreditation program, run by a Facet5 training provider. The course covers the history and development of Facet5, how it compares to other tools in the market, what the factors are and how important they are for describing and explaining different behaviour. There is also a big emphasis on how to interpret and debrief profiles, with a lot of practice and feedback opportunities given in class time. The course is enjoyable, highly interactive and participants leave being able to interpret and debrief, but also with a greater knowledge of personality assessment in general, and how this applies to work and to achieving business outcomes.

Benefits
Participants will leave with the ability to understand and debrief a Facet5 profile, using a process that effectively engages the client. They will also be able to administer and download their own profiles from the Facet5 system. Participants will also have access to research and tools to support them in their use of Facet5 once accredited.

Who should attend
The course is open to any person working the field of HR, OD, coaching, psychology, leadership development or related fields No specific prior knowledge or experience is needed, although healthy curiosity will help. Some pre-reading is required although this is not difficult or lengthy.

When and where
Accreditation courses are run frequently in both Melbourne and Sydney, and can also be arranged at specific workplaces on demand. Open courses are announced on Linkedin, and advertised via the Facet5 practitioner database.
 
 
To maintain its professional integrity and to ensure that it is administered and interpreted appropriately, Facet5 is available only to accredited people.
The accreditation course focuses on the development of an in depth understanding of the Facet 5 factors and how they interact to create unique personal profiles. It covers the background and psychometric properties of the tool together its application in recruitment, talent management and team building.

The course takes 2 days and includes a mix of interactive exercises and informal presentations. On the second day participants are required to conduct a Facet 5 debriefing session with observation and feedback.

Course materials include a technical reference manual, interpretation guides and case studies. Refreshments are provided for the duration of the course.

Teaming and the use of TeamScape

This workshop provides a hands-on approach to facilitating teaming events. Participants will understand theory and application of the teaming process, be confident to facilitate teaming events, create TeamScapes and debrief TeamScape reports at the end of this program.

This programme takes a detailed look at factor combinations that may underpin processes such as coaching, performance management and developing talent. This knowledge is also applied to team and organisational data sets.
